How to apply

Keep it on: At least 2 hours

  1. Apply with minimal pressure to the skin.
  2. Jagua stains rapidly, so take care while applying.
  3. For optimal results, keep the paste on the skin for a minimum of two hours.
  4. Remove the paste with lukewarm water, gently rubbing with your fingertips. Avoid hot water and scratching.
  5. Minimise water contact for up to 12 hours.

Before you apply

For the beststain, plan ahead.

  1. Step 1

    Clean & dry

    Wash hands and keep them free of creams or lotions before you start.

  2. Step 2

    Leave it on

    Keep the paste on for at least 2 hours. Secure with medical tape if you can.

  3. Step 3

    Scrape, don't wash

    Scrape the paste off gently with oil and a butter knife. Avoid water for 12 hours.

Hengua and Jagua need two hours on the skin and up to 48 hours to fully develop. Apply two days before your event for the deepest colour.
